This is my own piece of fanart inspired from playing Sonic and the Black Knight for the Wii.

Its my fancharacter Rej the Reject portraying a Knight of the Round Table Sir Dinadan and wielding a mechanical sword I designed "Calatech".

Allow me to explain some things about the pic: -

The reason I chose Sir Dinadan for Rej is because according to Wikipedia [link] he is known as a jokester and compared to the other knights has a great sense of humour, so since Rej is a comic releif character I thought it was fitting.

His sword "Calatech" is completely made up and not an actual sword name from Arthurian legend. The design is mostly inspired by Cloud's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy Advent Children but rather then a sword that can split into many I wanted a sword that can pack itself up and retract into Rej's arm.

The symbol on his chest and shield is the Celtic Trinity Knot, I wanted to put a celtic symbol on the armor to give it a nice look. I chose the Trinity Knot because it represents 3 meanings which can be anything, for Rej it could mean his 3 forms [link] and he has 3 best friends (Umbra, Ruby and Lunas).

I tried to do the storybook style from the cutscenes in the game, I'm not sure if I succeded but I hope its close.
